She takes her time, educates, and gives personal attention to all of her patients.

I grew up extremely self-conscious of my "crooked" teeth. I covered my mouth when I laughed and I learned to hide my teeth in pictures. I was one of those kids who couldn't wait to get braces.
I wore braces just over two years (which seemed like an eternity) and whitened my teeth my freshman year in college. Wow! What a difference 2 years in braces and whitening made in my smile and my life.Your smile is one of the first things another person notices about you. It was no wonder that I wasn't the only one impressed by my new and improved look. I began receiving compliments about my "perfect" teeth and "perfect" smile. Those were comments I had never heard before. I believe Orthodontics (Braces) is one of dentistry's greatest gifts.  It is one of the most gratifying treatments that I provide in my office. Learn More About Us >

Dr. Parikh has dedicated the last 4 years of her career to learn advanced techniques in Implant dentistry and Orthodontics. She is also in the Texas Academy of General Dentistry's Master Track program and will be awarded her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2017. At the Office:

Dr. Parikh is committed to providing the absolute best care to her patients. She built her practice with the mission to provide truly comprehensive oral healthcare. She takes her time, educates, and gives personal attention to all of her patients. You will not be rushed at BRISTLES. To begin, all of her patients receive a thorough head & neck oral cancer screening, full mouth periodontal probing, and full mouth X-rays. She will go over treatment options and answer any questions before scheduling you for treatment. She wants you to understand your diagnosis and treatment options.

In the Community:

Dr. Parikh has always been committed to serving the community. She was active in Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity at the University of Houston, holding a leadership role every semester. She volunteered as a college student at the Eastside Clinic, near UofH, as a dental assistant and interpreter. Since 2003, she has volunteered in El Paso, Dallas, Tyler and Beaumont for the Texas Mission of Mercy: a program that provides free dental, medical, and optical care to under-served communities. She has also volunteered at Star of Hope, the Houston Food Bank, and provided free dental services at a neighboring dental clinic sponsored by a local church. In October of 2013 and 2014, Dr. Parikh donated a percentage of October proceeds to the 30 for Ana foundation (an organization that donates all funds to TheRose.org). Dr. Parikh and her husband ran 10 miles on November 2, 2014 on the BRISTLES team to raise awareness.

Outside the Office:

Dr. Parikh and her husband were both born and bred in Houston and both earned their Bachelor degrees at the University of Houston. They fell in love with inner-city living and reside with their two children in the nearby Timbergrove community. She ran her first half-marathon in October 2008 and completed her second half-marathon alongside her husband at the Aramco Half-Marathon in January 2014. She enjoyed the run with her husband so much that she ran the Woodlands Half-Marathon in March 2014. She makes it a priority to relax and rejuvenate with 2-4 days of yoga a week. She's a firm believer in taking care of her body and mind before attempting to care for her family and patients. When the family travels, the Parikh's enjoy exploring new cities by bicycle and have cycled in: Cape Cod, Ambergis Caye, Belize; Ubud, Bali; Mexico City, Mexico; Central Park in NYC; Barcelona, Spain; and Paris, France.
